中国AI公司Manus完成超5亿美元首轮融资,Boyu Capital与IDG Capital领投,腾讯、HSG等跟投。
Manus, the Chinese AI company formerly incubated within Meta, has closed its first independent funding round exceeding $500M—led by Boyu Capital and IDG Capital, with continued backing from Tencent, HSG (ex-Sequoia China), and ZhenFund. This is among the largest single-round financings for a China-headquartered AI-native company since the 2024 restructuring of US-China AI collaboration frameworks. Funds are earmarked for scaling its end-to-end agent platform—including on-device orchestration, multimodal grounding, and offline-first execution—and expanding global engineering teams, including a major Beijing office relaunch. For early-stage AI founders, this signals two shifts: capital is rapidly consolidating behind vertically integrated AI stacks (not just models or API wrappers), and geopolitical resilience is now a core product requirement. Manus emphasizes local-first inference, deterministic latency, and zero-data-exit architectures—direct responses to enterprise buyers’ non-negotiable needs around data sovereignty and operational certainty. Teams still building atop generic LLM APIs without embedded control, observability, or compliance layers face mounting pressure on both fundraising viability and commercial traction.
